When you are in the market for a boat, you have several different options as far as who to make your purchase from. There are many boat dealers as well, and as with any dealer, you have to be careful, because few are honest and up-front with prospective buyers. Their goal is to make the boat look like new, and sell it for a huge profit. They dont care if you are happy or not, as long as you buy the boat.
Brokers typically deal with large boats that sell for very expensive prices. They again, are in the business for the money, and dont really care about the boats or the buyers.
When shopping for a boat, remember that the person who is selling the boat is likely only interested in making the sale and gaining the profits; not in ensuring you get a good boat. Your goal is to get a great boat, at a low price that you can afford, so keep that in mind as you are shopping.
